I don't think "size" shows up well on camera (tv or photographs). I am curvy with a small waist and you can't tell if I am a 2/4 without some perspective to judge my size in photos. Put me beside a larger person and voila! I look very small.
Think of how animals look in the zoo shows and how hard it is to tell the size of lesser known species without a person nearby. Perspective can be misleading. I don't go by what the hosts or models say except to get an idea of how a garment hangs and moves. I look up the measurements and size charts for the item.

I agree. They look like they can't pull them closed in the front.

@PINKdogWOOD I agree with you that it would be much more helpful for the hosts and models to be in their correct size for clothes, not the size they'd like to be.
I realize too that different brands have different sizing so tell us what size actually fits.
If it's a very relaxed fit item, I may size down. For coats, I often size up because I know I'm going to wear layers under it. Personally I want my coat to close all the way - whether it is with a zipper, snaps or buttons. I also prefer my clothes are not overly tight.

I'm thinking that the hosts and models samples arrive in certain sizes, whether or not they fit smoothly and well.
It's just what's available for models and hosts to wear. '
I don't think that they have much of a choice.
Just what I've been thinking.
It wouldn't be very easy for the manufacturer to figure out which items and sizes would fit better on each of the models/hosts.
Almost impossible, I'm guessing.

It also used to be that if you ordered more than one of the same item, QVC would only charge for shipping on the first item, and the rest shipped free.

A barefoot dreams moto jacket that shawn was presenting yesterday....no one could get it zipped. So the rep said, well who zips up a moto jacket anyway. For over $100 I would want it to zip.

@ROMARY If I worked there or was a model I'd certainly not be putting on clothing that clearly didn't fit nor look good.
