Six people you would love to have dinner with -

I saw this on the today show and thought was a good topic

 

Here is my list

 

  • My Mom
  • Bruce Sprintsteen
  • My 6th grade teacher - who had a lot to do with me becoming the person I am today 
  • My best friend from grade school
  • and her dad who was an amazing legal scholar
  • and last but not least - My brother - because if I had Springsteen at a dinner and did not invite him I would never hear the end of it
Stop being afraid of what could go wrong and start being positive what could go right.

I would say any 6 people who REALLY want to have dinner with ME. I wouldn't know who that would be. REALLY.

 

 

Instead of coming up with a list of famous people or people from my past.

Jesus Christ  because we would learn the truth behind his true ministry from him. and how we messed it up through the centuries.

 

My mother because she was a wise and shrewd person.

 

One of the authors of The Constitution so that the document would be explained fully.

 

Nelson Mandela so that he would explain his reasoning for forgiveness after being jailed for truth and justice.

 

Jimmy Carter because h walks the walk.

If I could pull together people no longer with us in my family, it would be 

 

my dad

my great grandparents

my mom's mom who died in childbirth 81 years ago having my mom

and my dad's parents

 

famous people from the past would be

 

Abraham Lincoln

Ben Franklin

John Adams

George Washington

Thomas Jefferson

I would like to have the first one, talk to the other four, and see what Lincoln might have to say to them about the state of the nation during his presidency and what might they have done differently to change that.

 

 

People of today, because I have something to say to each one of these people, and the role they have/had in what is going on in the nation today.

My biological mother (she passed away at 49 yrs of age...5 yrs before I found her..I'm adopted)

 

My Dad (adopted me...died in 2010....miss him lots!)
