Hi janna, no they will help out if needed but each has their own home. This group is not the closest of wives...but My 5 Wives definitely have their issues as well.

I don't mean to start anything here. That's for another thread. I still don't think they have "real" jobs. They are getting paid from TLC, probably close to $100,000 per episode and I read that they are getting state aid for the kids too. Surely, Robyn was before she met Cody (and they're not legally married so wouldn't she be entitled to it????)
The point isn't if they're making a fortune -- the point is that they have jobs and aren't lazy. You don't have to get a paycheck from a boss to have a "job". Stay-at-home moms have very important jobs and (most) aren't lazy.
You also (I assume) didn't have a gaggle of kids to take care of on a daily basis. And if you worked, you paid for a babysitter or day care for your young children.
And I'm not sure why people believe things they read on blogs or elsewhere as gospel truth I would take the state aid $ rumor with a grain of salt.

Hate to disappoint you but I had 5 boys. Three were born in 4 years and there is a 4 year gap beteen the oldest and next one down. They all knew how to do their own laundry by the time they were 10. The oldest knew how to make Pablum and heat up a bottle for his baby brother when he was 9 y/o.....I didn't force them to do anything. They just learned by watching. In my day, there was no day care (that I knew of) but I had neighbors with kids the same ages, so they were always "watched."....... My parents lived close by too....
Don't assume what you don't know. I think 5 could be called a "gaggle.".......

At one time they were on assistance...I can not imagine they qualify any longer with the pay from TLC.

No...they moved to Vegas and each had their own "rented" homes which some where not even in the same neighborhood. They felt that affected their family and decided to build these new homes in a cul-de-sac...to re-establish the family closeness.

When they lived in Utah (at the start of the series) they lived in a large house, built by a polygamist. Then, they had trouble with the law and moved to Vegas, where they were renting different houses for each of them. They still own the Utah house. One of the relatives is supposed to be living in it. I think they are having trouble selling it.
Then, when they starting raking in the money from TLC, they built custom houses in Vegas, where they all live now....
