The governor made the right decision.

 

I remember Bobby's assassination and the subsequent coverage well. I will never forget seeing him lying on the floor after being shot - I won't go into any further detail.

 

Those of RFK's children who wish to forgive are welcome to do so. I wish they had kept their feelings to themselves if only because their mother did not want him released and they should have been respectful to her, a widow left with 11 children.

 

There are so many innocent people in jail, on death row for murders they did not commit. I applaud those who search for justice so that those unjustly jailed are freed.

 

However, proven heinous acts demand incarceration and this punishmednt fits this crime.

Obviously I can’t say what the motivation is for the family members who voiced support for Sirhan’s release but if it has something to do with forgiveness, I understand that.

 

I’m pleased he’s not going to be released. He intentionally took a life. That decision has consequences. He’s where he should be and I think he should stay there for the rest of his life.
