Chief Dan George says "If you talk to the animals they will talk with you and you will know each other."
Plumes is a French speaking musician that serenades animals, cows, horses and other animals. Since I can't post a site google "Plumes Sings to animals" or if you are on facebook or instagram you can find his page with numerous videos. I find him fascinating and I envy his ability to reach the animals.

If you go into a pasture and engage in any unusual activity, cows will gather to watch. They are very curious.
There's a Facebook video of a dog repeatedly chasing a thrown ball. It's hysterical to see every head in the herd going back and forth in unison.

I've seen a guitar playing to cows before but I don't think it was him.
This is so sweet. He said his favorite is Can't Stop Loving You by Elvis, for the cows. They are so appreciative!
So true that animals and birds and many species listen to us and are curious. I recently saw an incredible video of a lady that had wild birds eventually feed right out of her hand, just like @MamaWick's deer! Cardinals, sparrows, all kinds.
In looking for this I found on Youtube-
"Amazing Animals Reacting to Music."
The elephants and many dance to the rhythm-so wonderful to watch!
Thanks for showing this @We rescue cats!

Fictional, I know, but Dr. Doolittle knew what he was talking about.

Little off topic but...
Last night (Sun) I was watching The Americas, waiting for something else to come on. It's the show that's narrated by Tom Hanks about wildlife. Well last night it was focusing on Patagonia.
While I don't have pets, I was fascinated by the behavior exhibited by these animals in the wild. There was a story about a Puma and her babies not eating for about a week. Well, the mother came upon a carcass that apparently belonged to another Puma. So typically, she would have to fight the other Puma for it, but in the wild, some animals apparently can detect a relative which is exactly what happened with these two females. So they shared the carcass. I thought that was incredible. Also a story about the ostrich. Mama lays the eggs and beats feet. Dad sits on them for 3 months until they hatch...after they hatch, HE raises them.
Humans are supposed to be the highest life form, but well, I gotta wonder about that one...

Thank you for sharing this! I believe it!
"Aura to Aura" Seems to me to be the most sincere form of relationships & communications
Incl with ppl & animals! imho ![]()
Some times, I think words can gum up authentic communication & relationships.
I've been to numerous "Silent Retreats" over the years, where no attendees are to talk, from Fri Dinner to After Sunday Brunch. Yet we continue to meet throughout - for serving, eating, cleaning up after our homemade, prepared meals together. Thru participatory lectures, & special activities where the leader would be the only one to possibly speak.
We became so much closer, authentically, & more quickly without words.
yeah,
"Aura to Aura" ![]()
Same with my pets & me thru the years.
Magic like that!

I was thrown out of the Glee Club, and the Choir didn't want me, either

When we had kitties I would take a song and make up kitty type words to it and sing to them! One of my favorites was "O Kitty Cat" to the tune of "O Canada".
