All the volatility and the frustration of not being able to help - it actually led to the last time I attempted suicide. For whatever combination of things that existed between my friend's severe condition and mine - it just all blew up for me and I couldn't handle it.

I tried to my very core. I failed. But, yeah, poor guy just went from the top of living life to the bottom because of his condition and their inability to control it properly.

My mother suffered from Manic Depression. Life was a never ending roller coaster. We never knew whether she'd greet was with a hug, or throw a knife at us.

Agree. More empathy and understanding is needed, even for those with whome we do not know or are not in our inner circle. Because indifference is said to be the antithesis of love.

I was a fan of Sinead back in the day, loved her sound and I thought she was beautiful. I didn't realize she had mental problems. Arsenio should be ashamed of himself for taking legal action against this poor woman, where's his compassion!

No, that is incorrect. The defense does not have to prove anything. The prosecution has to prove guilt. The defendant is PRESUMED INNOCENT until found guilty.
