My wife is an advid QVC shopper and I only occassionally spend a few minutes watching. I remember a host named Lisa Mason. I really enjoyed her warmth and genuine personality. I now sometimes watch David when he hosts his cooking show. I have looked at some of the blogs posted by viewers commenting on the way hosts are dressed and the way they look in general. I suppose what I want to comment on is the lack of personal sincerity on the part of the hosts. I am aware they are selling products and profit is the goal but in general, but most of the hosts do not seem real or genuine at all. In my opinion, most of them come off as vain, self absorbed, and somewhat conceited. I don't remember these attributes in Lisa Mason and I don't really see them in David. I suppose my opinion doesn't matter but it bothers me to see this trend growing. I was just curious if anyone else had the same point of view as I do.
