I used to live in Orange County, CA. The threat there was earthquakes and in the Orange hills where we lived, we worried about fires. Then my folks moved to the shore and we worried about cliff erosion! There is something to worry about wherever you live. I live in the Midwest now, where tornadoes are possible. We go about our business, pay attention to the weather, and go to the basement if sirens sound. No panic. We have a safe room in the basement. We also have our weather radio on at all times in warm weather, and it signals when there is a warning. I couldn't sleep without that. I don't worry. I just keep my eyes open.
