Where can I find the thread commemorating her. This is sad. We can become close to some posters.  I for one have. In fact, for over 20 years I have had a friend from this board. We go through the highs and lows of life together. We have never met in person, but we are very close.  ECBG  is a long time poster, a very kind one at that.  I am not able to read what happened exactly, but thanks for letting us know

@shoekitty, The tribute thread for Cathy, ECBG,

is in Among Friends:

I thought so too @Kachina624.

I was really thankful to read that.

I just added this to the tribute thread in Among Friends and wanted to add it here, too, since this thread is still active.

@mspemberly, Your lovely post, with photos and poetry, brought more tears to my eyes.
You reminded me that Cathy often was one of the first to comfort others, who were expressing their personal grief and pain, by posting this poem by Henry Scott-Holland.
I found it in her photos, and felt as though she was talking to us through this,

"from somewhere very near, just round the corner".
She said it was a favorite, and comforting to her.
I saw that she commented that she wished she had this to read and reflect upon when her son, Josh, passed away.

@beach-mom , a read only thread?  I've never seen that before here.

@newjersey.  As you can see, you can post here or on the other thread.

Re: Simple Remembrances of ECBG

Hello, I am sorry for causing any confusion. I closed the original thread to ECBG to update and moderate but then i reopened it. We want to be sure that all posts are respectful so we are carefully moderating and both threads will remain open.

Very sorry to hear this. She had many friends everywhere.

@ninjawife

My thoughts are that auto correct changed ECBG's intended "low sats" to salts.

@RedTop   Strange you say that, I had the exact same thought!

@shoekitty

I am not aware of what happened either. It must have been on a forum that I don't read or just read every once in awhile. It's heartbreaking to know that one of us has passed. I recognize the name but don't recognize it as being someone I read posts from regularly. My heart goes out to her family.

Re: Simple Remembrances of ECBG

I always enjoyed seeing ECBG's fashion posts on the Outfit-of-the-Day thread in the fashion forum.  Before she fell, she posted outfits almost daily.

It was fun seeing how she coordinated outfits and she was a pro with the styling of her scarves.

She really enjoyed her days at Talbots.  She often talked about assisting her ladies with fashion choices.  She was always enthusiastic about working there.

It's so sad that she went downhill after the fall.  I thought once she was admitted to the hospital, she would get better and be back to her normal self.  I'm so sorry that she's no longer with us.  She will be mssed by many.
