I was almost through writing this when a notice came up saying it was now a "read only" thread and I couldn't post. (?) I can't believe we are not able to post our remembrances. So I will try to post here. I tried to remember what I had written, but I probably forgot something!

I'm just logging on today.

I literally said, "Oh no," out loud when I read your first post @TheWanderingOne. Thank you so much for letting us know. Thank you @TheMemphisVette for posting her beautiful obituary.

 I had been praying for her daily, but mistakingly assumed she was better.

There are beautiful posts in tribute to her here.

I have shared my participation in the forums with some people. They don't understand how I could feel close to my fellow posters. They sometimes comment about "real friends." What they don't know is I have shared things with my online friends I don't share with anyone else, and yes, I feel very close to you all, and I do consider you "real friends."

I remember "daughter-in-love," a term I had never heard before. I remember Biltmore and the mountains. I remember her love of crafts and decorating, and her fashion advice. I always looked forward to her posts.

We may not "know" each other in the traditional way, but one day we will. And ECBG will probably be there with a smile on her face and food for all of us.

 I will be praying for her family, her friends, her former students, and US. We will miss her.

The other thread is back to allowing replies if you care to post there.

@geezerette - Thank you. I wonder what happened? Should I request the moderators move it there? And if so, how do I do that?

I just wanted to share what was on my heart.

@beach-mom, It appeared the thread was only temporarily locked while the moderators removed a few posts.  You might wish to add your post there, for continuity, as @geezerette mentioned.❤️

Thanks @dooBdoo - how do I do that? I don't think we're allowed to post the same thing on two different forums. I do agree with you it would be better for continuity.

@beach-mom,

Oops, just saw your reply!

You can ask the moderators to move it.😊  You can click on the "Report" feature to ask, or send an email message to QVCSocialTeam@qvc.com.  I don't know of anything else you might do to catch their attention.
Your comments and remembrance of our friend were lovely, reflecting your gracious and sensitive spirit, and you
touch my heart.❤️

@beach-mom  I wasn't on here when she was here, but what a beautiful heartfelt tribute. She sounded like a beautiful soul. It's good to know there are some who still appreciate others unique inner beauty, and extend such kindness as you have.
