Signs of fall

The leaves on the trees are all a very dark green -a few have started to turn yellow , orange and red early. Even though it is 88 today - last night it went down to 50 and we had to have the heat on this morning and the AC this afternoon. We are expecting rain all weekend - a gift from Isaac - and tonight is the beginning of high school football - tomorrow is the start of college football. Last night the Steelers played their final exhibition game.My personal favorite sign of fall is the local farmers markets are full of fresh picked today produce here in W Pa. Typical signs of fall in Pa. We will head home to Florida in a few weeks (depending on the weather)and the trip through the mountains of Pa, West Va and Virginia is always awesome.We go through the area of W Va where the mountains open to a beautiful river -New river gorges. The mountains are awesome there -especially in the fall.
