You know what...lately this has been happening to me at Amazon.  Very upsetting to logon and see that I'm already there when it was days since my last purchase.  I know I logged off as I always do.  What I think is going on, is there are different servers for each link that takes you to a new page and so you have to log off from each one.  Does that sound right @dooBdoo or at all possible?

I'm sorry, I just now saw this, @agb80.  I really don't think that's the reason, mainly because that would be very poor database design and their website seems to be one thing they normally get few complaints about.  Even so, it's worrisome and I'm stumped as to what might be the cause especially if that's the only site where you're experiencing this.  You might want to try clearing all browser cookies/cache/website data, then go directly to Amazon without using a bookmark/favorite, log in and see what happens.  Also, see if a different browser allows you a complete, single log out.  I'd contact them and report the problem -- although I haven't needed tech support, I've had good luck with their general customer support.  I worry that you've encountered a security issue...  hope you find a resolution, soon.
Good wishes.  Have a safe, peaceful holiday.🌻

Obviously you've never experienced identity theft.....

I agree, @KingstonsMom.   It's especially worrisome since the recent changes to the website that appear to be linking our forum accounts even more closely with our shopping accounts...  with all of our personal contact and payment information available.   We need to be able to completely log out, terminate the access and the session -- at the moment the website isn't permitting this, at least for some of us.

@dooBdoo  I don't have my payment info on my acct. on this site. I enter it each time I order.

To All: Didn't we used to have a webmaster email address that could be contacted and they could (maybe) straighten out this mess?
