I carry a pink lady....I would rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it....

Lunch conversation yesterday - would you feel safer knowing anyone around you at work could be carrying a concealed weapon?
Best answer: Maybe - as long as I could decide who was eligible to carry.
And even then ......

not immoral unless you think the Bill of Rights is-it's our 2nd Amendment. Law abiding citizens are permitted to practice this amendment under the registration laws of our states and country.

The commercial that gets to me is 'going commando'. Especially if you have a precocious 12 year old talking about it in school.

it may be your right to carry, but i don't want to see commercials about it. let it stay in magazines where i think it's always been.

Immoral as far as I'm concerned, to foment fear in order to profit from this country being awash in guns. It's disgusting.

My husband carries and is looking for a new shoulder holster. He knows where and where not to carry.. Ever defended yourself with your purse or wallet? He served his country, has had a full ground check for his carry permit and is very responsible. Our neighbor taught at a war college, he carries as well..

I applaud your husband.
I have guns, but I would never carry for the fact that I know I couldn't react properly or quick enough. I would probably get myself or someone innnocent killed in the process.
I'll make a judgement when I see it, but being made aware doesn't make you live in fear IMO. So what do we want, Smiling Bob, dirty old ladies buying a car, or his and hers KY?

I don't consider people who lawfully carry, follow the laws required for gun free zones, follow the laws required for securing guns, to be gun crazies. However, there are many, many, many irresponsible gun owners among us. Some of them are mentally ill, are violent, are abusers, are TERRORISTS. THAT'S who I'm concerned about.

Curious. What channel was this on and what time? Never saw this. I have to say, I have mixed feelings about carrying a gun. You can't be sure of your reaction and timing to use it.
