@laluzdelmundo ...I think that the guys in the 2023 photo look just fine in their more leisure clothes...clean and comfortable.
My pet peeve is when pants are pulled down...baggy with underwear showing...What is with that and what is holding them up?

I attended with my sister once during a visit, and it was so much fun! The bargains, and a man with a beard in his long-johns, and other people just going with the theme and being goofy.
Maine also has a town in which when the residents start to go crazy with the long winter, in March, they indulge in nude bowling. Or they did a few years ago; global warming is even changing Maine....
@Burnsite ...
Yikes!...Nude Bowling...that image really attacked my visual senses!...I would imagine they would still have to wear bowling shoes though?...LOL

Well, I decided to google this, since I hadn't heard back from @Burnsite
This particular "event" is a nudist group called the Bare Nekkid Mainers in Old Town. The bowling alley is booked for a private event. (Not specific to any month, it seems.)
The windows are covered (unlike the bowlers) and it's age-restricted (children must be accompanied by an adult).
It seems one man ignored the signs on the door and walked in with his 8-year-old son. He reported it to the police, but no laws were being broken, so the bowling continued!
And, yes, they have to wear bowling shoes!
There appears to also be a similar group in the Kennebunk area. A group of geriatric nudists called the Solar Bares.
This was all years ago, so no idea if it still goes on.

Sorry, Venezia--just saw your message today.
I was talking today with my sister who lives in Maine, and she thinks the bowling alley that catered to nude bowlers in mid-winter was in Belfast, ME.
This is a large (for Maine) town about 60 miles north of the mid-coast. They have a repuation for winter revels. (She wasn't sure, though.)

No, it wouldn't be me. I dress up nicely everywhere I go. I long for the good old days when class and dressy elegance was in fashion.

@MyShadowLove Men were hotter, harrier, and more masculine in the 1960's photo-(I don't see chest hair in that photo- but I know its there!) whereas look at all of the baby faces and weak jaws on the 2023 young men! And look at how the 1960's men are casually and happily smiling for the camera whereas the modern young men are preening and posing for the camera. I know this is just one photo comparison, but it has some real truth to it! And you're right- the pants are sloppy and baggy on the 2023 guys.

Absolutely not for me. Imho, it looks like people were too lazy to wash up and get dressed to go to the store. Ladies used to take such pride in their dress in the 30's and 40's with matching hats, nice hand bags and clean shoes. Sadly, as we have progressed there is no longer any nuance about a woman, ( but not all women). Used to have to lean in to smell perfume, now some bathe in it. Bodies were left to the imagination but nowadays, some let it all hang out. Just my opinion, but maybe a lot of women have lost the very essence of being a woman as they are too busy trying to get attention via poorly done tattoos, tons of perfume with poor hygiene, leaving nothing to the imagination and going out looking lazy and dumpy.
