Man oh man, Richard Gere is one of those men who certainly has continued to grow and mature into his own beautifulness (if this is even a word!).
I really too enjoy all of his movies, all are good, and even if they aren't that good, he certainly is YUMMY to look at!!!!

Sigh....I understand...He is so naturally great looking and a wonderful actor!...Sigh
I love the ending in "An Officer and A Gentleman" where he marches into the factory and literally sweeps Debra Winger off of her feet and takes her away with him!...I have the tape and watch the ending over and over and over....LOL....Swoooooooon!
One time, I asked my husband why he never did that, so he quickly responded by picking me up and carrying me around the house!...LOL...LOL
I especially love Richard Gere and Diane Lane together....They have great chemistry together....loved "Unfaithful" and "Nights In Rodanthe"...She is one of my favorites also!...I understand that they are great friends!

I've loved Richard Gere forever.
I was so mad when Cindy Crawford divorced him. LOL

Ohhhh, I LOVED Unfaithful! Diane Lane should have received an Oscar for the scene she did on the train after her tryst with Loverboy, so believable!
That scene was fantastic!

SPOILER WARNING!
I really disliked Unfaithful because of the ambiguous ending. Did they he turn himself in or not? I hate when a movie involves me for two hours and then doesn't wrap things up to a definite conclusion. Watched that film once and never again.
Hunky Halle Berry's husband is in it - who gets murdered (hunky loverboy).

I watch anything he's in. Love him. Saw him on Jimmy Fallon the other night and he definitely gets better with age.

Hahaha, you're not alone, Irshgrl31201; I've never seen the movie either. In fact, I've never seen a lot of his movies and I don't know why because I think he's really handsome and a very good actor. The few movies I have seen with him, I've really enjoyed (thinking specifically about Nights in Rodanthe and Pretty Woman).

yes, the ending showed that they turned him in....at least that was what I got out of it. I do not think he could live with the secret.

They changed the ending because the original one was not well received by test audiences. I like when endings leave us wondering.
I love almost all Richard Gere movies even when he's a bad boy.
A few of his movies I like that are seldom mentioned are
Primal Fear
Sommersby
The Hunting Game

IMO it was ambiguous, not clear. They are outside. still deciding. You don't know for sure what they ended up doing.
