Tall order. It's something to think about even if you don't answer or have an answer. It is something to ponder.
This was an old black and white sports movie, and the coach wanted the team go out and he asked them this. Whether they win or lose, they'll have played their best.
In other situations, "we have nothing to fear, but fear itself". Was Roosevelt right? Just a thought to ponder.

I have some "Eastern friends" who think Phoenix is about to be invaded by "armed foreigners". Ha. I live 20 miles from Luke AFB. (There are also Marines and Navy stationed there.) Fat chance any "foreigners" are going to take them on......... My friends have unrealistic fears.

I never discount people's fears. After all, history and life experience will show us that just about anything is possible (good and bad) and that most things that people fear, do indeed happen to someone at sometime, somewhere.
That said, there is a healthy way to deal with fears, much of which has to do with simply planning all scenarios that may happen involving one's fear, then considering all options to deal with what might happen. This takes power away from fear, because people have answers and plans.

If anyone says "they have no fear" of anything? In my opinion, they are lying.

Fear is not necessary to live a good life. It is entirely possible to live without fears. If one states that she/he has no fears, that does not necessarily mean they are lying.

Fear is used to control people and their behavior. Fear of Judgement Day, fear of punishment. It starts at the age of two, inhibits creativity, causes anxiety, depression, and lasts a lifetime.
