@mizree   Unfortunately, they are not my deer or in my yard.  My Lab would scare off anything.

I came across the picture, thought of Mama Wick, and posted.

Maybe that deer is doing daycare for other deer in the herd.

I read that 1-3 fawns happen and 4 is rare but maybe she also adopted one or 2-cousins?

I, too, thought it was a babysitter, but the larger fawn still has its spots/angel kisses. The 4 other fawns look like they were born at different times.  Nature at its best.
