I agree with you. @occasionalrain They should have been around to answer what they did to their children.
But unfortunately, they would have been slapped on the wrist and back out.

IF the father was the monster he's accused of being, then I'm all for the brothers being released as that's some sick stuff. Unfortunately we'll never know for sure since Jose and Kitty are dead. And why did Roy Rossello from Menudo wait so long to come forward with his claims?

@KKJ The same reason the boys abused by priests waited years to come forward.

I don't know enough about the details of the case to make a judgement. I do know that when I saw bits and pieces of the trial all those years ago I felt bad for them, and I believed their testimony. But again, I didn't follow it closely, and I don't know the details.

I'm on side "no".
I know several people, both male and female, who've been repeatedly sexually abused as young children.
They did not commit murder. So if the abuse of these two men happened, I'm sorry they were not able to seek help in another way.
This whole case is horrible for everyone involved.

@kindred cats Were their abusers wealthy influential men? Did the abuser threaten to kill them if they told and more than enough money to employ a professional killer?

@occasionalrain Yes, indeed. Two were very wealthy and influential in the entire community!!! So I wouldn't go there if I were you.
