Re: Should the Menendez Brothers be released?

Maybe they should have done a Lorena Bobbitt on the abuser.

hmm  I've read all prior comments here, & I have several things whirring around in my head.

I'll mention one:

What is the Intended Purpose that society imprisons a person who has been found Legally "Guilty?"

Are we all of one mind about what qualifies as "long enough" or "ready to release,"of an adjudicated "guilty" prisoner?

In my opinion the Menendez brothers should absolutely,  resoundingly be released.

It has been long enough.

This is my opinion and I fully stand by it.

Freedom for the Menendez Brothers.  Long enough is long enough.

To anyone:

        What is "long enough?"

How do we determine "Long Enough?"  (Esp evaluating them based on the assumptively different Prison environment).

Are they a package deal for release?  They seem pretty close to one another.  Some might call it "thick as thieves."

Reading someone say "It's been long enough."  No words will properly convey how utterly sick that makes me.

@They Call Me MR Wilkes  I respect your opinion, however I don't agree with it. If you think it is long enough for the boys, just think how long it is and will be for dead Kitty....their mother that they shot to death in her own living room eating berries and cream.

It's sure going to be interesting how this plays out in January.

Had the parents been charged and prosecuted as they should have been, they would be in prison now instead of their victims. Something to ponder.

Well, if, if, if credible evidence existed to convict the parents, well, they would still be alive and sucking air with their money intact in the bank.

Oh, and the little darlings could go back to their old ways supporting themselves by burglarizing.

Re: Should the Menendez Brothers be released?

Both can be true. The parents were horrendous and the sons abused from a young age and were totally twisted.

Don’t underestimate how much damage abuse can do to the mind of a kid and adult. It’s not so easy to just walk away. Same goes for women abused by husbands.

For the Menendez, I have no opinion on their status. I need a lot more info.

Re: Should the Menendez Brothers be released?

NO, they were grown men and they killed their parents and went on a shopping spree!  If anyone should be released it should be women who endured years of abuse and killed their husbands/boyfriends!  the Menendez brothers commited first degree murder!
