Why is no one blaming the daughter? Y'all are going on and on about the dad -- there was a strange male in his daughter's bed, and she said she didn't know him. How does that look to the average father?

Yep...because most are against citizen's owning guns(any!) yet the deny it.

Clearly, the boy was known to the daughter and thus was not an intruder - which is another issue.

But again, are you -who want to ban all guns - seriously suggesting that IF someone broke into your house and was attacking your daughter, you would NOT try to defend her - you would simply run away and call 911?

I honestly can't say I would. I, as a parent, would defend my child. He wasn't supposed to be there, then the daughter lied. If the father had a gun, I think that was the time to come clean.

Sad story all around.

I'll take that bet, but I won't hold my breath. Sharpton WON'T mention this case at all...just like he has never mentioned the Knoxville hate crime case of Channon Gail Christian, 21, and Hugh Christopher Newsom, Jr., 23. Sad, but true.
