Re: Should I say something or let it go?

It's a problem because the OP doesn't want her neighbor's water on her porch, driveway, flowers, grass, and railing every day. It's the OP's property and her choice.

I would feel just the same and would have called her attention to it and asked her to stop the first time it happened.

Maybe buy her a watering can and then explain why the water is a problem for you.  It probably hasn't even crossed her mind.  Hope it works out.

I would mention it.  Seems she should be able to understand your concern.

@Scooty Howling has this been going on?  How long has it bothered you?

I know this is a typo, please no offense intended.

A great giggle.

About now I feel like howling myself.

Re: Should I say something or let it go?

could you kindly suggest she water with a watering can instead of the hose? Then water won't be going everywhere. But for sure I would ask her about it, if the water is on  your porch.

In my opinion, since this is bothering you, say something. Your feelings probably aren’t going to change just because others feel differently.

I wouldn’t like it either.

Things like this, I wouldn't even care about.

Op just tell her the issue you have.

Re: Should I say something or let it go?

My neighbor must have been running late this morning.  She didn’t water.

I should have mentioned that the inground sprinklers come on every night around 3 am and water does get on her porch.  She’s been complaining to the HOA all summer about fixing this and so far it’s still happening.  So obviously she doesn’t like water on her porch.

If it is covering such a wide area, I can only assume that she is aiming out from her porch.  I would mention it when the water is visible and ask her to aim in.
