Just came home from shopping Costco, Fred Meyers and Big Lots. No one was wearing masks or coughing...it seemed like any other shopping day.

Nice not to be hunkered up at home worrying about the bad news on TV.

That's all.

@SeaMaidenI have yet to hear one medical person, one scientist even, give me a reaason I'd wear a mask UNLESS i WERE THE ONE SNEEZING AND COUGHING.

I am following their advice -  that paper masks protect others from my illness and do nothing to protect me from contracting one from others.  In fact, over and over I see doctors and other medical personel saying the paper masks may make us more likely to become ill because they don't do what we think they do and they encourage people to touch their faces more, often to adjust their mask!

I can't live my life worrying if I'll get sick. People are panicking, maybe for a percentage of people this can be life threatening, I think for most healthy people it may be like having the flu.

Did you expect to?  There is no epidemic going on.

We were at the VA clinic yesterday and saw more people wearing masks than what we normally see.

I saw one person with a mask today.  Then we went out to lunch and there were numerous people all using bottles of hand sanitizer.  Not just a few in the restaurant we were in, but probably 1/3 of the patrons in the place.  I was surprised.

Same for me.  Store well stocked with everything, even toilet paper.

Plenty of bleach, no hand sanitizers or isopropyl alcohol, though.

I live in Seattle, and I can't find hand sanitizer ANYWHERE! I had a couple of small bottles on hand, but the store shelves are empty!

Coming back from the shopping center, I saw 3 high school students wearing masks.

And the numbers keep growing: 9 deaths so far. The fear is real here.
