Re: Shopping on Thanksgiving or Black Friday?

No, No, and No.  The most that I will do is perhaps some Online shopping. I refuse to go out in the madness or patronize any store that is actually open on Thanks Giving Day.

Re: Shopping on Thanksgiving or Black Friday?

Cyber Monday only.  Grocery store on Friday is all I hit for shopping, it is empty and still. I hate shopping even online.

Re: Shopping on Thanksgiving or Black Friday?

I see no diffeeence between shopping on Thanksgiving or eating in a restaurant on Thanksgiving. Either way, people have to work because of people who don’t want to cook or those who want to shop. There is no difference.

We stayed home to enjoy our dinner and time spent with family and friends.

@violann  When my daughter and son were still quite young, circa late 80's early 90's went to Caldor's on Black Friday to hopefully get their Christmas gifts on my very limited single mom budget.

Of course later they went out of business and their location in the shopping center was taken over by Kohl's.

What a fun memory for me you made surface!  And no I don't shop on Thanksgiving or Black Friday.
