It's a nice "specialty" type smaller environment

that is the vibe I got from the various YouTube videos I've seen.  Some of the beauty influencers on YouTube do vlogs that include trips to Trader Joe's.  I guess Taylor Wynn would be the biggest Trader Joe's influencer I've seen.  Everything looks so darn good.

Wow, thanks for all the photos! I'm getting excited about going to TJ's 😊  I know we won't go often even if we love the store because of how far it is but it will make a nice day trip.

Well I just discovered I made a mistake about the closest location. I thought I read there was a Trader Joe's in Greenville Texas. I was wrong, it's in Dallas on Greenville Avenue. Greenville Avenue is not for the faint of heart.  And it certainly isn't for a small town 60 something year old couple.  Also discovered there are 2 in upper North Dallas on Preston Road where we lived when we first got married 45 years ago. That's in a bougie part of the city so I'm sure the Trader Joe's will be exceptional.  Wow, if I can actually talk DH into driving up there it will be so neat to see how much has changed in 45 years. My daughter and granddaughter were just there last weekend on that same road buying granddaughter a prom dress. I used to buy her mother's prom dresses at the same store on Preston.  So I guess I was there about 25 years ago, dress shopping. Cannot believe I used to drive in that crazy traffic! Thanks again everyone. I appreciate all of you.

We will have an ice chest with us 😊  we've done that several times when we've shopped at Sam's. It's an hour away.

We have an Aldi's about an hour away. I've been in there two or three times with my daughter and or mother but I wasn't impressed.  Daughter loves it.

I love their orange chicken, jasmine rice and cheese raviolis! I just tried the pumpkin raviolis tonight and they were delicious! Most of their frozen food is surprisingly good! Their frozen penne pasta is the cream sauce is divine! Their cheese crackers are one of my fave snacks and their fish is always 9.99! Fresh flowers and sweet treats like the chocolate covered blueberries are delicious! I think it’s definitely worth the trip!❤️

I've convinced DH to (sometime soon) take a trip to Trader Joes.  I can't stand seeing and hearing about how great it is any longer! It's an hour and fifteen minutes to the nearest store.  Are some days better than others?  What do you like best from TJs?  Anything you can share about the store would be mucho appreciated it Smiley Happy

we love it there, however I am not sure it's worth driving over an hour to go there

that said

good prices on lots of things

cards are .99 cents so I stock up on them

I live within 5-10 minutes of at least 5 grocery stores so my view is different

@monicakm  I haven't bought them from Walmart sorry. But I like T.J's pork and their chicken potstickers. I do mine in the frying pan.

Have fun!

I've loved Trader Joes since I was a teenager. My mom used to buy their pippin apple juice, it was so tart and refreshing. Now I buy most of my spice blends; and any frozen prepared foods I buy always come to TJ. Their ethnic dishes are so good and the prices are better than majoy grocery chains.

Trader Joes is a pass for me.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?
