WOW I am late on the uptake here , mostly cause I seldom use it .

But because I bought some rather expensive Waterford gifts I wanted to be sure the value pays were done correctly in this first bill and found out they had been charging 1.99 per month , just because ( mind you no late fee or interest)

I immediately called and cancelled the account.DONE

However on general principal I wanted the charges they had processed.( $7.96) 4 x 1.99 credited back.

They refused.

I threatened to sue them and start a class action suit reminded GE money card how much hot water they are in with law suits related to their relationship with Park West gallery as their Credit card and said I would do it just try me.

They credited my $7.96

funny thing is they said they notified people via mail, well since I did not have a charge on the account and hadn't used it in years I did not open it .....IF I did get it ( not sure)

I started ordering holiday gifts end of August and apparently they started charging the 1.99 per month

Unless you notify them you dont agree and close your account they will charge you every month...Just because.
