@goldensrbest I searched for them with no luck. My favorite item is a fleece jacket.  I searched for it with the words "shop national" and got nothing. I fear it is either gone or absorbed by another company.

If you cannot find their presence online, chances are they are OOB unless they have rebranded.🤔 Normally that would be announced so that customers can easily locate them. I would really hate for them to be another example of a collapsing retail market.😔

Hopefully, there is another favorable explanation.👍👍

They seem to have an Amazon store but only a handful of items listed. I would say they have gone out of business...very odd without a closeout sale of some kind.

I'm not familiar with this company and I do not know how or even if the following information will be beneficial.

I looked up shopnational.com at whois and their information was updated a few days ago.  The registration is valid until 2028.

My take on what I've found is that the company is in some sort of transition but has no current online presence.  Perhaps reorganization, sale, merge or simply renewed to protect the name from being registered by what I consider a scavenger.

@goldensrbest I found a catalog in my files. I called the 800 number and heard a recording "the number is not in service at this time" message.

What a timely thread, I was just looking for the Shop National website today, too, and couldn't find anything.  I then realized I hadn't received a catalog from them for a while, either.  I really liked their UltraSofts cardigans, I have several in different colors.

Also, I've sure been getting alot of "Woman Within" catalogs lately, one about every 3 weeks.  I really like their Fine Line denim pants, they are an excellent replacement for me for the Denim & Co Side Pocket pants that I used to buy.

I wonder if "Woman Within" is getting ready to bite the dust like Shop National....what makes me suspicious is the deluge of catalogs being sent out in recent months, just like Shop National did.

Huh .... Never heard of this retailer.

Well, if they've gone out of business, I guess it doesn't matter, does it?

According to a short article in the Lexington Dispatch, National Wholesale Co. suddenly ceased all operations, including closure of its Lexington,  NC headquarters and shopnational website on February 2, 2024.

It is a family owned and operated business,  started in 1952 as a womens apparel mail order company.

The owner ( the founder's daughter) gave no information or details.

They appear to be permanently out of business.
