I just tried to pay off my balance and it would not take it. I do not use their credit card. I will just go back each month to see if I can get it paid off.

I just found a number to call Shophq and paid off my VP. There is a staff that is answering the phones. I just hope this all works out OK

Yes, and then delete ANY credit card information immediately.
There is no reason for them to have it anymore and who knows how well protected our information will be, going forward?

Thank you for the heads up to remove credit card information - just delete all cards associated with ShopHQ.

I loved taking advantage of the 18 month interest free on their credit card.
Currently paying off a pair of yellow gold and a pair of white gold Sonia Bitton diamond earrings.
It just let me make a monthly payment. Three months to go. I guess just like Sears and Pier 1, since they went belly up, the card closes automatically....

I only purchase with a Visa. Never with a shopping card. Or pay at their web site. I just pay my Visa every month. Do the ame with QVC. So mluch easier.

I saw a blurb about this a month or so ago.
They aren't allowing value pays because they are getting rid of everything. It's not business as usual.
They also announced their credit card was shut down and people would have to pay off an item already on value pay with another card.

I was able to make an installment payment on my ShopHQ card last night after I saw this thread.
It wasn't due till the 23rd and I had no problem paying it off in full.
But it let me make the payment and sent me a confirmation email.
Business as usual--thus far.

First let me say I ordered multiple items on discount as they were closing and received all of them. However I had value pays left , not on their card, and today one payment was declined stating "REASON DECLINED
HOP HQ.COM DOES NOT ACCEPT AMERICAN EXPRESS as payment. All my value pays remaining are on that card and it was never an issue. If you call customer service how do you know it is safe to give an individual new info? Why didn't we get an e-mail stating what would happen with value pay? It would have been nice to hear from SHOP HQ instead of my credit card co.

I went and checked my card statement online and the pending transactions for my last 2 orders dropped off and no charge for them...I got one order today with everything i ordered and another will come mon....I called ShopHq CS and told them and asked for them to recharge my card and they said they cant do that now,not even with me giving them the card number again...My guess is your VP wont go through because the co is now completely shut down...Crazy!
