I don't know if this has been posted already, but there was a shooting at Dallas Live Field Airport.

There is cell  video of the police yelling for someone to get down, and nine shots were fired by them.

What I'm hearing is that he had a rock in his hand, and was advancing on to them.

The suspect has been taken to the hospital.

My question is, if he had just a rock in his hand, even if he were to throw it, the police could've just ducked out of the way, and then tazed him.

Now I'm hearing that they used rubber bullets, but still.

Initial news reports can be quite fuzzy in the chaos.  Why not just wait for the facts once things are under control?

Perhaps the O.P. is trying to get the facts by posting--and gleaning information.  Being rude doesn't solve anything.

 Conference on now, deputy saying that it was a domestic berween a woman and her baby daddy.

He did have a rock, and the police did discharge their weapons.

Oh, and the suspect did damage a vehicle.

Just in case anybody cares.

I like the interweb's 'Monday morning quarterbacking' when they say,

Police should've tased him...or shoot them in the leg....or run...or duck.

Makes the general public...and posters... look so idiotic.

Geez. another day, another incident.  I have gotten to a point that I cannot turn on the news.  I watch reruns instead.
