Welllllllllllllll, saw a show on those expensive beautiful heels last night. Well known name creator. It was on Netflix. But, my point is, I'm amazed at the height of the heel on some of these shoes.
I couldn't wear them at my age if they paid me to, but some of these shoes are just works of art. One woman said, she buys and collects them mainly. How nice to be able to do that one!
Louie V. shoes. Do you own a pair? Or ever modeled shoes?

I don't know how true it is, I either heard or read that Martha Stewart didn't like the red soles so she Sharpied them black!

The ones with the red soles --- aren't those Loubitons (sp)? Yes, they are gorgeous. And yes, I am always in awe of the heel height on most of these shoes --- and how people are able to navigate in them. In my younger years, I wore heels which I thought were pretty high but they didn't hold a candle to these! As for price and collecting --- no way could I afford these types of shoes. If you are able and love them, I say --- go for it --- enjoy!!!!

@AngelPuppy1, Thank you, those are the ones. I guess his name is all one word. It's an interesting show if you have Netflix. You should see it, it's a good story on him. HE's very talented!

Christian Louboutin creates some beautiful shoes. I don't think I could walk in them. I would admire them in my closet.
The signature red sole is a status symbol.

Just saw some by Valentino. Had studs in the leather straps. So pretty, but almost a thousand dollars. Holy Toledo!. They look like the ones the gal on The Five wears. They catch my eyes every time she wears them.
We sure do like our heels! LOL I love the boot shoes too.

Definitely works of art. Like sculptures for the feet.
My back hurts just thinking about wearing them! Is there special training? I envy those who can wear them safely and walk gracefully.
How did I ever wear those platform shoes in the 70’s?! Funny though, I only sprained or twisted my ankles wearing walking or running shoes.
