You can  just buy the red paint for leather bottom shoes, sold on Amazon, It can be used to touch up the real deal or create you own knock offs.

True -- and there are many brands available.  However, if I had a pair of these, my feet would never touch the ground.  I'd just float.

I have only ever known one person to have a pair that were the real deal.  My niece got beautiful shoes for her wedding (she is a doctor and can afford them)  she got blisters from them and took them off as soon as she could.  She was in her bare feet at the reception.

That was a ton of money for shoes that hurt and were only worn one time.  She sure didn’t float in them.

Oh, I'd never be able to walk in a shoe like this.  I wouldn't even be able to stand.  As I said earlier, I fell wearing my hiking boots two weeks ago and did a faceplant in the middle of the intersection.

Better-half, to offer support during the healing process, ordered a new pair of boots for me.  The most expensive shoe I've ever owned but so comfortable.  They're not Louboutin -- they're Zamberlan.

Zamberlan

Re: Shoes with the red bottoms

@SahmIam:  DS and fiance have several pairs apiece, and I have been very pleasantly surprised at how well they have worn. His first pair was 6 years ago and has never had them repaired ( of course, he doesn't wear them every day but special occasions and vacation).   We called the "vendor" and was quoted a price of $50 for men' shoes.  Investment pieces for sure.

@Hoovermom  That's a VERY good price. I do think "vendors" charge whatever they can get away with.....

I love his shoes. I wish I could afford to collect them, lol. Some truly are artwork.
