Shoe pinwheel organizer

Did anyone else buy the shoe pinwheel organizers?  I just received mine and am airing it out cause of the smell.  I'm a little disappointed, the slots are squashed.

@Snoopp  Hi-it doesn't look "breathable" so that may be why it smells.

 

I have a shoe organizer with a zip plastic lid but the rest is made out of natual canvas.

The containers do collapse slightly.  Mine is a rectangle shape so the slots collapsing is probably a given no matter the brand.

@Snoopp  Seldom buy from QVC (except Louis Del'Olio), but I did find that item interesting. When you actually begin using it, would you please share how you like both sets? I would be interested in placing Birkenstock sandals in something like that. Thanks!
