@Jamela

You may put similar items in one package and you will be charged for one return. Hope that helps!

Re: Shipping and return outrage

@sunshine45. That kind of doesn't make sense to me. What if you receive two light tee shirts in a box or bag that has a $6.95 return fee charge.  But you send back 6 items in a box using that label whose  weight would have merited a $8.95 return fee? (I.e. the six items weigh more than a coat)?  Hmmmm.

i believe if the item is or are "overweight" you will be charged the $8.95 fee......maybe not? STILL a good deal when compared to shipping multiple items back on your own.

Q Return Label fees are deducted from your refund and are based on the original weight of your item in its original packaging. Q Return Label costs are subject to change at any time, without prior notification. Restrictions and limitations may apply.

0 to 5 lbs: $6.95

5.01 to 10 lbs: $8.95

10.01 to 150 lbs: $10.95

maybe @Beth-QVC  can confirm?

Re: Shipping and return outrage

This seems to be a no-win discussion.  It's as simple or as complicated as someone wants to make it.

 I can only go by my own experience (and the responses the mods have given in the past) and the information on the website.

Good advice has been given, to contact CS, if anyone feels she/he has been overcharged.  Beyond that, it's up to each customer.

Re: Shipping and return outrage

I am having an issue right now. I got one wrong jewelry item and have one clothing item to return. I emailed the qvc social team to let them know and that I did not want to be charged a return fee since I am sending them together. They said that the items go to different states, I cannot send them together, and will be charged $6.95 for the clothing item. That kind of stinks. Between that and something else I am not happy about, I need to step back from QVC.

@Sappy

When you purchase something from QVC you need to be aware of what we long time shoppers joke about it and refer to as the "try me fee" which translates into if you decide to return something for other than a defect you lose your original shipping and get charged for the return label. Thats the way it is at QVC.....

You can try the Free Exchange Program but that only works if they have your size and color you wanted....

(on defects you do get your original shipping returned and no charge for return label, but you have to contact QVC's CS and make a note on your return slip).

Hi @Kachina624  Anytime I have tried that when I go back to order size/colors gone.  Then I get mad at myself.  Sometimes I can't win.

@mspatmac

It seems you can't win for losing with QVC 😄😉.... I now purchase from only certain QVC vendors ...even then I have to calculate a loss if I decide to return something and think hard do I really want to take a chance...

Re: Shipping and return outrage

The more people buy from QVC the more they complain about shipping and handling. The more they complain about S&H the more they buy and on and on. Just the other day a poster was complaining that she spent $150 on postage to return clothes

I recently bought a blouse from QVC.  It looked like a nice fit on the website and I liked the colors. Well when it came it was huge on me and looked like I was wearing a large pajama top. Not a pretty look. Before this purchase I had not bought clothes from QVC in years. Learned my lesson with this purchase. No more clothes from QVC. If I can't get to a store and see the way the garment is made and looks on me then I don't need it. And if I don't need it I am not wasting my money on something that I can do without.

Re: Shipping and return outrage

Shoes are the worst: 5.50 S/H, and 6.95 to return. How many times have you gone shoe shopping, and the first pair you try on are absolutely perfect.

I can't tell you the amount of money I've spent on returns, even though I swear I will never do it again. But, I do, thinking I know this time will be good.

They are making money, so why should they change?

@Spurt - this has been mentioned in prior threads.  If you send something back for an exchange and they no longer have the size or color you want, you are not charged the return fee.  (Yes, you will lose the original S&H.)

I only found that out on these forums, when the mods responded to someone questioning the "Exchange Policy".  So, if you get charged the return fee on an exchange, you should contact CS.
