I received a box from Amazon yesterday. A yellow sticker had been placed over the recipient's name & house number. I opened it and saw that it was an egg cooker. I double-checked my Amazon orders and never ordered it.

Earlier this week, UPS wrongly delivered my 2 packages to my next door neighbor, and an order from Amazon had been opened with part missing.

I couldn't figure out which neighbor the egg cooker might belong to with the label covered. Yesterday was garbage day, so I threw it out (I'm purging to prepare to sell & move)

This morning my brother texted me: "How did you like the egg cooker I sent you?"

Yikes.  : 0

I do not understand why you did not contact UPS if your thought it belonged to someone else?  You actually threw it out?😳😳😳

Oh nooooo!   Sorry that I had to chuckle, but yikes.  Smiley Sad

The sticker over the addressee info is really bizarre, though.

@shaggygirl @Sage04  I told him it arrived yesterday and that I didn't know it was for me because of the yellow sticker. I also said it looked like a perfect egg cooker and thanked him.

-I didn't expand beyond that because I didn't want to hurt his feelings.

@Desert Lily  yeeaaa that would have been my response also. I would also buy one later just in case he asked if you liked it.

You would have to remember which Brand it was lol.

@4kitties  It was from Amazon, so it didn't come UPS. I figured whoever the correct recipient was could contact Amazon for credit or re-delivery.

@Sage04  I may have to research egg cookers on Amazon's site & order one. I don't know what brand it was because I only looked at it while it was in the box. He sent me a large smart TV for my birthday, stayed on the phone while I set it up, and had me text him a picture of it when I was through. At Christmas, he sent me a new laptop for my novel writing and then asked me how I liked the software he installed on it. I know he'll ask me about the egg cooker.

@Desert Lily  he really looks out for you. I have a question, hope I'm right. Are you the Poster who said some time ago that her brother in law bought her something to eat recently. Something you did not expect?

Just realize I said brother in law instead of BROTHER.
