I have had 2 orders being shipped from Ontario CA warehouse that I've never seen on order tracking before. Each order has been nothing but issues and delays.
I received an email from Q saying sorry for delay with your order but not which order was involved. I ordered a Denim & Co top and Lock and Lock item on 3/17. The tracking was really slow and this warehouse was involved. After receiving the delay email it moved later to Colorado. Now it indicates order delayed at present location in Colorado due to weather conditions. Trying to figure out why an order going to Chicago Illinois is traveling from California to Colorado. In addition, this package contains both orders. Never have I seen clothing shipped with kitchen items before.
My only suggestion to QVC would be to coordinate their warehouses better to customer locations. Has anyone else had similar experience or heard of this warehouse before?

Ontario CA is a big hub for both UPS and FedEx.

Most of the items that have shipped from Ontario CA took about 7 days to arrive and be delivered to GA. I think the items were put on a plane and thus no tracking. I finally see the tracking when the items arrived in Jacksonville, FL. Perhaps that is the reason why no tracking because the items are not travelling via ground.
I also have had items ship from North Carolina and that is one place I don't want my items shipped from because it is the returns location. I could be wrong but I am thinking the CA warehouse probably has a lot of stock availability and QVC is trying to use that to fill orders.

Thanks to all for your feedback about California location. Still just a bit confused about the routing from there to Colorado in order to get to Chicago. That together with crazy delays is just frustrating. I placed my order 10 days ago and now it is sitting in what I presume to be a snowstorm in Colorado for who knows how long.
I was waiting for the Lock and Lock especially because I want to share one of the glass loaf pans with a great neighbor here. Guess I should just stop watching the progress.

Don't try to figure ot out. Lol. I live in California. I ordered ice cream from Santa Barbara, california. It went to Nevada, then Tennessee and then back to Northern California where I live. They did all thos in 2 days. The explanation is, they reduced shipping costs by hiring Fedex . Fed ex picks up near Santa Barbara , then air transports pkg to nevada and tennessee where their big hub is. Geesh. Go figure. Lol

I made an order here n 3/20, imagine my elation when it shipped already the next day from Ontario Ca, this is the trip it took straight up I-5 to Seattle.
Ordered 3/20
Left Ontario Ca 3/21
Arrived Portland Or 3/21
Back to Ontario Ca 3/21
Arrived back in Portland 3/24
Arrived in Seattle 3/25
off to USPS sure post
Rec'd on 3/26
Quick out of the warehouse but why back and forth between Ontario and Portland, than sat 3 days there. Just 6 days total but could have been even quicker. I like having this new warehouse on the west coast. My last couple orders have arrived pretty quick, use to take 10 days min. before that.
eta~ @shoekitty was your ice cream still frozen?

since Ontario is an hour and a half from me, i thought that the new warehouse would speed up Caliornia deliveries. but, i think in the last year or so,only one or two of my orders actually came from there. weirdly my orders get shipped from NC SC PA regularly so i don't understand the logic frankly!

Hi ms traditional, I am right there with you. If they are opening new warehouse locations they should coordinate with the location of the customer. I guess it would be a major undertaking to be able to do that though; it might involve moving inventory in massive amounts. Probably impossible to accomplish. However, that tracking back and forth is crazy.
I now know to cringe whenever I see my order starting in Ontario. My tracking now shows the package is somewhere in Chicago area and is expected to deliver next Monday.
I learned a lot here about UPS Hub locations here by complaining here. Thanks again to everyone.

@LogoFan Interesting. I sent back two pair of IM's pants for different sizes. They made it to Ontario in good time, then they were returned to our main Post Office here where I live. Made a big loop. I track my returns and couldn't believe it. I've never had a problem with my returns. I contacted CS and said that I hope I receive my order as "returned" and am credited. One finally says "returned" and the other is still ~somewhere~. ![]()
