You might not be so thrilled with an above ground shelter when you saw a semi-trailer truck coming at you at 300 mph. The kind of tornadoes we have where I live pack the highest winds recorded sometimes. You cannot believe what these can do. Most of us want to go to ground when a big one is coming.
