I am not a fan of her style. But I respect her right to be herself and WEAR her style. That is what we all should do. No?

No, not always - for one thing not the work place.

But, she is in fashion and has a right to wear what she pleases as long as it's not offensive.  I liked her personal style earlier in her career at QVC but don't care for it now but it's her choice and she is wearing the TSV, that's all that is required and it shows the versatility of the garment.

Isaac remarked about the top not going with that lace dress and said she looked like a stuffed animal, like a Paddington bear - they had a funny exchange where Isaac seemed to think the outfit was silly, and Shawn told him to stop, it's not horrible, he's not being fair (to which he replied "it is fair").  Shawn said it's called layering, and Isaac clearly wasn't buying it, although the exchange was done in a laughing way on his part.   Funny when the fashion designer makes fun of the host's outfit!  Wondering if anyone else saw this exchange.

I saw the exchange.  Isaac wouldn't make fun of anyone in a mean way but as a designer, he knows how he would like to see his designs worn and has a right to make a commentary just as Shawn has a right to her choice of clothing/style.  They are friends and the exchange wasn't sarcastic nor was he upset.  Customers who purchased the pant may have done so because of Shawn's styling and it showed the versatility of the garment.  Very conservative or funky, it works

Anyone remember Cyndi Lauper back in the day? No one else could pull off her outfits but her, why limit yourselves? I agree with @tansy with Shawn being self confidant.

@JaneMarple- I agree and how about Iris Apfel....I've loved her style/spirit for many years and at age 96, still going strong, funky and unique to her.  Personal style has no age limit nor does everyone have to like it.

@JaneMarple- I read your comment after I wrote mine....at 96, I hope I can be referred to as a "Rare Bird"

IMO 99% of the time she's a train wreck...outfit, hair and makeup. I'm all for personal fashion choices, but in your own life not in your professional life.

When on air, there should be some level of decorum. She's the only host I know who strives to get attention in this manner.

@Shanus- as young & beautiful as Courtney is, some of her choices are out there and Jane T takes chances.  They are on TV and wouldn't be there if they didn't like attention or they would be working in Macy's or Nordstrom. Shawn has always been quirky and not to my taste of late but that's who she is....And, there are so many threads criticizing Shawn, well, she does get attention...be it negative or positive, it's attention and that makes her relevant and interesting.  I knew there would be a thread about Shawn today.  How many hosts generate such controversy?

Sign of "her insecurity" probably part of her contract

I agree nothing more than a sales clerk.  she is 40 something, and it's ok to dress trendy, but this is bargain basement non tasteful, and does not cater to qvc woman. btw, she needs to come to terms with her age, her look is harsh, last night her roots were about as long as her pants.  with all her money one would think she could get her roots done

She looked  like a 80's  "valley girl".

She is an entertaining host.

I would love to have her self-confidence.  The look is too costume-like for me.

I actually think it's the opposite of self confidence.  She's so insecure with herself that she needs constant attention so she dresses in a way to attract attention or tries to steal the show from vendors when presenting products.
