Shaun and Rick friday night - Page 5

I had planned to relax and watch a movie last night, but checked in with the Q first, to see what was happening.

I wound up watching the entire event with Shawn and Rick. I totally get their dry, often perceived as sarcastic humor, as they banter with one another. Shawn and Rick clearly like each other and have fun when together.

I had a couple of coworkers that were good friends and people would have thought we hated one another if listening to us. It was quite the opposite.

We loved and depended on one another through thick and thin. Have to say our digging one another got us through some awful nights of hospital duty. It's called fun, folks.

Seems about half posting here get it and the other half do not appreciate it. Thankfully there's something for everyone.

I personally prefer something not so scripted and more casual. Sitting on the floor and tossing candies? Feels just like a get-together at home. Works for me.

Shawn has no boundaries. I have seen many instances, but three stand out.

I have seen her put her finger in a rep’s mouth, to wipe lipstick off her (the rep's) front teeth.

She started doing Maria’s hair during a Calista presentation. It was clear Maria was not pleased.

She corrected one of the models that showed a makeup palette too soon. She wanted to do it. It was an uncomfortable moment.

It seems, from reading posts on this thread, some watch QVC 24/7 with a notepad in hand writing everything that is done by the hosts they find objectionable.

For those that are not happy with presentations, go online and check out the products. There are lengthy descriptions which enable you to determine if the product is right for you. This is how you shop from multiple websites so why not QVC?

Why on earth put yourself through presentations you do not like and come here to rant?

I also was watching last nite,the way Shawn yelled out I really had to laugh.You never can be surprised what comes out of her mouth.Rick looked embarrassed..

Yes I think Shaun does not to have a partner with her--she belittled people and I hate that. I love Rick--he can get hyper and stutter at times but I do the same thing. You can see how so very proud he is of his family but he never takes it over the top. And while I'm writing this note I truly miss Dan Hughes this Christmas season-such a kind and joyful person. And Rick I watch you everytime I see your on. Everyone on these chats need to be alittle kinder not just during the holiday season but all year. Thx for listening.
