Shark Navigator Lift Away vacuum

One of our vacuum cleaners died today and we need to replace it. I don't want to pay Dyson prices as it's just my husband and me and this vacuum will be for just our upstairs. I'm thinking about getting the Shark so I'd appreciate your opinions if you have it.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?
