 Quick cute backstory.  My niece and her husband own aBrownstone house in the city on a corner lot with lots of BIG windows.  At Christmas time they always put their Christmas Story (full size) Leg Lamp in the large front window next to the Christmas tree.  Last year, I saw a Leg Lamp cookie cutter and sent it to her.  She made cookies with it and some of them turned out exactly like the one in this picture.  She and her husband had a blast decorating them.  Here is a picture of their house.  You can see the Leg Lamp in the window. Hard to see it, but it has the fishnet stocking on it as well.  She said a lot of people stop and take pictures of it.

Love leg lamps, we have one.  DH got as a gift and kept in basement in box.  I told him this has to be put out and it is!  🦵

@ciao_bella Such a cute story!  It made me LOL   I always loved the Brownstones, they have such character.  We have many in Boston , I used to love to walk around Beacon Hill just to admire them.  We don't get to the city as much as we used to but it is a cool place.   Is hers in NY?

The house from the movie and the gift shop are about 1 mile from my office and right across the street from one of my favorite restaurants/bars. 

The gift shop sells lots of lamps.   They even have them as nightlights

I have a good friend whose husband loves the movie,  A few years ago, somebody gave him a small one (about 18 inches or so high) for Christmas.  She keeps it on a table in front of a window in their den which look out on the main street they live on.
