We live in a small town about 40 miles from NYC.
1. Transportation into the city is easy.
2. We have great shopping in a pretty village like town.
3. There are a lot of famous people from our area that have contributed greatly to the arts.

The suburbs of Atlanta...
Cheaper cost of living--gas to electricity to food to property taxes. We have over 15 grocery stores within 10 miles, and more are being built. We want to move to the mountains, but it's so much more expensive.
Cows and horses and goats and sheep...and it all starts across the street.
it looks like a rainforest even when it's dry.

I can call my friend (she is like a daughter that went to school with our son) at home to see if I can get my hair done the next day. The beauty shop is fun and we always have a great time.
I can go for a walk at night down our street and I'm not afraid.
It was a great place to raise our sons.
