Shabbat Shalom and a Happy Weekend to Everyone Friday Oct 3

Shabbat Shalom to all who observe, and a happy weekend to all.

May you be blessed with the love and warmth of family and friends every day of the year, not just on holidays and special occasions.

May your burdens and worries blow away with the wind.

To those of you and your family with health issues, may everything turn out well. May your medical tests and those of your parents and loved ones come back with happy results.

Sending prayers of healing and strength to you and your loved ones.

Many prayers for our country's well being and world peace. Bless the leaders who keep our country strong with wisdom and courage, and PLEASE give them the strength to make the right decisions for our security and well-being.

Good thoughts and thanks to our military. May they come home safely and SOON. Bless all the servicemen that didn't make it home; and to those who are serving, thank you for being there to protect our safety. Thank a member of the armed forces for their service, and keep in mind those who gave their lives for our glorious country. May they never be forgotten.

Special prayers for all the children...may they have good health, enough to eat and drink, a warm bed, and the abiding love of parents and family who will protect them. May the children survive and thrive. No child should ever go to bed hungry, nor should anyone else in this country. Help the food banks if you can. Even a little helps. May our own children be healthy and happy.

May your parents and your children be healthy and happy as well. I hope everyone's mom and dad and children are feeling well or getting better.

Condolences to those of you that have lost a parent or a loved one recently.

Try to do a good deed for a stranger. They'll feel good, and you'll feel better.

May the best of everything come your way, today and every day.

Dmod I hope your mom is resting comfortably.

And to those who observe, I wish you an easy fast and for you and your dear ones to be written in the Book of Life for another year. Amen.

Sunny

I echo Sunny's always beautiful prayers and wishes, adding my special thoughts for dmod nj and her mother. I hope everyone has a wonderful, safe, weekend. Please remember to let your loved ones know how special they are, hold them close, and appreciate what you have every second of every day. Practice gratitude. Even in the darkest times, I'm convinced we have simple abundance which sometimes goes unnoticed. "Wear gratitude like a cloak and it will feed every corner of your life." (Rumi)

Good Shabbos Sunny and friends,

Sunny's prayers are so perfect. I too want to let Donna know we are thinking about her and her mother.

I want to add extra prayers for our friend John and his wife Cindy. May she recover quickly from her surgery.

Good Shabbos and easy fast

We are breaking the fast as usual at my house, so a trip to Costco for fruit.

Then probably some silver polishing later{#emotions_dlg.ohmy}

Shabbat Shalom to those who observe and an easy fast. I also want to repeat Sunny's prayer as she always states wonderfully wishes for all. I'll be spending all day tomorrow on synagogue, it's going to be rough saying yartzeit for both my parents and lighting the candle for them both tonight for the first time. The prefast dinner will be gefilte fish, roast chicken, kasha varnishkas, roasted pumpkin, broccoli, cauliflower and carrots. To break fast we'll have smoked whitefish, lox, egg noodles with pot cheese, bagels, cream cheese etc with my white sangria.

Shabbat Shalom dear Sunny and all who observe. I hope the everyone enjoys the week ahead. Enjoy your friends and family

Donna as always my love to you and Mom.

Sunny I am sending you early birthday wishes. Thank goodness we will be the same age next Thursday. You know I wish you only what I would wish for myself.

I have chosen not to be "afraid" of the ebola situation. We need to all educate ourselves and insist that the media reports accurately and not try to scare us to death.

I hope everyone who fasts has an easy one.

Sunny thank you for the very best thread on all of the boards. I hope you and your family have a happy and healthy 5775.

My friends, I don't know if I've ever really told you all how much I appreciate your prayers, blessings and wishes every Friday on Shabbat Shalom, and how much it means to me.

I want to thank QVC for allowing us this place to get together as one people and share our love, prayers, and best wishes for each other, for our family and friends, for our country, and for the world. We've shared the good, the bad and the in-between over all these years, and it does my heart good to read about small bits of your lives and those of your families and friends, all across our beautiful country.

I appreciate all the new people who join us every week. Thank you for being here on our all-inclusive board, and please know you're all welcome here anytime.

Wishing you and your dear ones a happy and healthy New Year 5775, and may you all be blessed with the best of everything.

And to my dear Ellen, you'll always be older than me, no matter how old we get hehe

Love to you all,

Sunny
