Thousands in our area have been without power today, and I'm hearing about lots of trees down.  Such a powerful storm.

I never went to sleep till just before 5 this morning. I'm WAY to old to pull an all nighter. But we were down in the living room and at 3 I woke my husband up and helped him upstairs and I turned on the local news coverage in our bedroom and was too keyed up to sleep. 

I woke up again just before 6 AM for good. I don't operate well on one hour sleep, LOL. 

We were very fortunate. Severe thunderstorms, really high winds and torrential rains. 


Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?
