I'm in Gaylord and power was out downtown and the stop lights out. With all the tourists town was a big traffic jam. Lots of rain, thunder and downed trees. Not really overhyped by media.

Dave Rexroth, WXYZ chief meteorologist seems calm so I feel better, lol. Western part of state is going to get hit worse. Still raining hard, not a lot of wind. Big, high speed wind is what scares me, no matter the season.

I live one hour north of Traverse City. We had waves of terrible storms move through all day long yesterday. But the one that hit around noon was the worst. I watched this same front move downstate and hit overnight where I use to live in the Detroit area.
