I have posted about issues with this estate before. It is that of my husband's deceased father.
Two of his brothers are named co-executors. The oldest brother has been pretty much acting alone, not sharing with the other one. Co-executor #2 has now retained an attorney to look into it. He has been paying the attorney himself. We are in another state.
Brother who is acting alone has vowed to deplete the estate for legal fees to fight the other brother.
Since my husband and another brother (there are 4 of them) are just beneficiaries (the will stated an equal split among the 4 of them), can the co-executors deplete their inheritance fighting each other?
Yikes!!
