Services provided by a CPA??

Does anyone know if a typical CPA's office provides the service of doing all monthly financial matters for a small business? For example, do they pay bills, keep track of expenitures,, etc.? How do small business people know how to conduct their financial business? I know a lot of small business owners are not necessarily educated in financial affairs.

There is so much legal stuff to know and follow, I just don't understand how a normal person can know all that is needed to be on top of everything.

If this is a typical monthly service, what is a reasonable fee to expect?

Thanks for any insight into this matter. Hopefully some small business owners can respond.
