Serena has won 3 slams this year and been #1 for quite some time. There is no way Venus needs to let her win. Venus was a good player in the past but lately has been losing in early rounds. If Venus wins it would be more likely serena tanked rather than vice versa.

Venus has an autoimmune disease.  I remember when she disclosed her illness.  Illness or not, she is STILL in fantastic shape and has played a good game.

Yes, I'm aware of Venus' illness and am a fan of both sisters. When they retire it will be a big loss of American tennis.
