It hasn't been a problem drafting 18 year olds and sending them to war. To young to drink but not to kill.

These are recent findings . When the draft was still enforced they didn't know this stuff

It is so easy to hate and kill, why anyone would chose this for another human being is beyond my understanding?

It only puts you on the same level ,as the person that you think ,is so evil

@proudlyfromNJ  I will add even without the draft right now the military still accepts 18 year olds.

@cherry.  No need to post like this to other posters. Posting your opinion is sufficient, putting down other posters for their opinion is not. It's a two way street here.

The victim didn't die.  We don't impose the death penalty for that.

@Noel7 ..... maybe so but they stabbed her multiple times & their intention was to kill her .... they are two crazy, worthless people who can never be normal & should never be allowed to live in society ... I still say goodbuy & good riddance ... they don’t deserve to live ..... this is MY OPINION & you don’t have to like it or agree with me.

@January121  People are disagreeing with you because you went off a a tear not knowing the facts of the case.  The vicitm is alive and more has been uncovered regarding mental illness.

Hey-have your opinion but not your own facts.

25 and 40 years is a long time before being integrated back into society.

When a person wants to kill mentally ill children I wonder just how long your high horse will be willing to carry you around.

We can feel first and foremost for the victim but we can also educate ourselves about these girls and understand that their case isn't about being horrible monsters.

Let's treat them in a secure environment; what will be in 25 years or 40 years is yet to be determined.

Your hatred of these two girls bothers me; as though you feel that only perfect people have the right to live.

Seems a few dictators had the same ideas.  Be careful what you wish for; your tarnished elements of your own character may someday be deemed "monstrous".

True @proudlyfromNJ

There's an old saying:

"Old men send young men off to die for them."

A lot to think about there...

@January121

History has heard that opinion before.

Civilized societies don't kill off their mentally ill, but it was done in WW2 in Germany.
