Senior needs help on letters on remote for Xfnity

What does the letters A-D used for and mean??

Just found out D is to go from SAP to English....PLEASE DO NOT ask  me to call Comcast for answers as they are not helpful.

Any insight on A B and C would be great!!!

On my Xfinity remote, A is troubleshooting and tips and tricks, B is settings (closed captioning for example), C is for sports scores, etc., and D is delete a recording.

this is for my xfinity voice remote:

the A button is for HELP with your service (restarting, refreshing the system, setting up the remote, tips and tricks....helps you fix common issues.)

the B button is for for ACCESSIBILITY FEATURES like closed captioning,  voice guidance to help you navigate the screens, video descriptions if available, sap, tips and tricks.

the C button is for the SPORTS APP that lets you follow your favorite teams and see scores even while watching a non related channel. you can follow mlb, nfl, hockey, golf, etc.... and get sports news.

the D button allows you to DELETE a single recording or a folder of a specific program on your DVR when you are on your DVR pages.

hope that helps @RINGER! Smiley Happy

@RINGER

The A, B, C  letters on your remote will display screens that will allow you to choose settings for how your device will work.

Do not hesitate to call Comcast if you're  a little confused...........We have called for technical assistance before, and they can be helpful and do want you to be satisfied.

If you're NOT satisifed with their service, wait until you can get in touch with someone else higher up in the organization  and threaten to cancel your service and choose another provider.  THAT will get you some results!!  LOL!

If you ever want help from Comcast but don't want to call them, try their support forums. The moderators are customers who are designated experts, and also Comcast employees. Just do a search for Xfinity support forums.
