The ladies there at Arcadia Seniior Living  also did a TikTok video to Miley Cyrus' new song "I Can Buy Myself Flowers". It is a hoot!

My worst nightmare is becoming like this at my age.  I said it and I will own it.  No apologies.  And yes I am old.

@Sooner   I may be their age already. The older I get, the more I like seeing my contemporaries who are in good spirits and who have the physical ability to enjoy them   That they share them with us is icing on the cake..

@millieshops If people reading this don't agree, fine,  but whatever it is, it is what I avoid as the older person I am.  I try to be still the same person I have always been.  Not cute, silly, or adorable.  It's not me.  Fine for others, but SOME older people, are not "seniors" who are in high school, nor do they want to be.

I just want to be who I am as long as I can be.  We often treat and think of  older people as if we are all senile children.

Joining the Red Hat Society, moving to a seniors-only community in FL or the desert, spending my days shopping, playing bingo, and going to casinos. 😱
