See if using this format to read is easier for you.....

After choosing and opening a thread to read, goto the top and in a red and white box is "REPLY". Next to it is "Topic Options". Click on that and choose "Printer Friendly Page".

IMO it is easier to read, but you do have the drawback of not having the forum topics on the left and have to do a little more navigating.

I get a huge expanse of white, maybe 15 inches before I get down to the posts, doing this both ways. Is it them or me? I'm on IE Windows 7.

This may not be much help, but I think a lot of people are having trouble with the IE browser. I'm usually in Firefox, and I don't have what you are seeing.

To OP: I hardly ever use the printer friendly page.

depglass: I don't get that huge expanse of white, but I am using Chrome. It seems like IE (certain editions) are not working well with this format. Sorry about that.
